Another round of heavy winds and dusty conditions is due to hit Qatar today, and is expected to continue for the next two days, the Meteorology Department has said.
In a statement on its website, the MET said that this is the second wave of “Al-Bawareh,” or northwesterly winds, this season. It continues:
Temperature (is) expected to be within normal averages, where the maximum will be early 40Cs by day and minimum will be late 20Cs by night.
In this regard the Meteorology Department will issue a warning of strong wind and high sea from mid-Wednesday to Friday (31/5/2013); we call upon everyone to take care.
Last weekend, blowing winds and low visibility made for a blustery few days off. At least this time around, the sandblasting ends on Friday.
Meanwhile, here are six ways to protect yourself from all the dust.
