It may be warm today, but winter isn’t over yet.

After a week of clear skies and sunshine, clouds are once again moving over the country, with rain possibly on the horizon, the Qatar Meteorology Department has said.

Today’s overcast and windy conditions are expected to last through Sunday, a forecaster at the MET told Doha News.

And though daytime temperatures will stay around 24C (75F) – not dipping as low as they did earlier this month – evenings will be chillier, dropping to as low as 12C (54F) this weekend, he added.

Rain is also expected in the northern part of Qatar on Thursday night, and may reach Doha at that time or early Friday morning.
