Humidity and heat are expected to reign supreme today, the Qatar Meteorology Department has said.

Expect the weather to be “extremely hot with slight dust, humid, hazy and misty by night,” with temps rising as high as 47C (117F) today, up from yesterday’s 45C (113F), the Peninsula reports.

Al Jazeera Senior Meteorologist Steff Gaulter adds:

Super humid in Doha. Max reading in the early hours of this morning was 79%. Going to stay humid for the next few days.
