Officials across the Gulf continue to voice “grave concern” over the kidnapping of Qataris who went hunting in Iraq last year. At least 26 people were seized while hunting in southern Iraq in December by a large group of armed gunmen who broke into their camp.
In a statement issued from New York this week, the GCC Ministerial Council reiterated its condemnation of the move as a “terrorist act” and urged the group’s release, QNA reports.
