Many motorists in Qatar who woke up early this morning had a surreal commute to work, as foggy conditions caused visibility on the roads to drop.
As always, authorities urged caution while driving in such conditions, and residents chimed in reminding people not to use their hazard lights.

The conditions are common for this type of year, with the first “big fog” of the season settling over Qatar on Saturday morning.
Now that the sun is up, it is already burning through the mist, clearing up the hazy conditions.

Qatar’s Meteorology Department said that the fog should clear up by 9am in most parts of the country.
The foggy views clearly inspired many residents here to start taking pictures.
