Federer pulls out of Qatar Open due to injury

Top tennis player Roger Federer has had to pull out of his Qatar Open semi-final match against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France due to back spasms.

The Swiss player is due to remain in Doha for a couple of days for promotional reasons, but won’t be carrying on in the tournament, though he said he hopes to be recovered for the Australian Open in 10 days.
