In the cooler months, there’s always lots to do in Doha, so we thought we’d put a few of them together to help you make your plans.
First stop is the next Doha Tweetup, which will be hosting a discussion on Creative Commons at The Pearl-Qatar’s Tabkha Restaurant on Wednesday, January 18. It’s free to the public, and includes a buffet dinner.
For a more classical approach to the arts, head to Katara Cultural Village, where the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing pieces by Mozart and Beethoven at the Opera House on Wednesday, January 18. Tickets are priced at 100 QAR.
That’s to be followed up by four performances by the world famous Vienna Boys Choir, at Katara on January 21-24. Tickets again priced at 100 QAR.Â
To really get your engine revving (so to speak) check out the Qatar Motor Show, which arrives at the Doha Exhibition Centre from January 25-28, open to the public.
As prelude to the event, Shell and the Qatar Motor Show are organizing a Scuderia Ferrari Street Demonstration on the Doha Corniche, January 21 at 2pm between QNB Roundabout and the Sheraton Roundabout. Notably, that section of the Corniche will be closed before, during and after the demonstration.
What else is going on in the next two weeks that you’re looking forward to?
