Amid recent Gulf tensions, Doha-based cartoonist Khalid Albaih has been portraying the latest diplomatic row between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE with a series of political cartoons.
The above drawing begs the question, “Was the GCC being one body just a visual game?” Albaih told Doha News.
This second cartoon shows that the GCC is now a patient in the same hospital as the Arab League, which “has obviously been for years broken and in bad condition,” Albaih explained, adding: “Is the GCC going to end up the same?”
